Hiding In My Craft Room-Mix It Up!
Hey All!!
Quickie post for today! I have been super busy with helping my dad out while my mom had her second surgery yesterday! I just cannot WAIT for her to get home :( Hopefully by next week!!!
This actually winds up being the PERFECT post for todays challenge over at Hiding In My Craft Room! Our theme for today is Mix It Up with a Thanks or Thanksgiving theme!!!
I wanted to make just a little something for the nurses that has been helping my mom out! I know my mom will be there for a couple more weeks, so I made a few Hot Chocolate Sliders with a Thanksgiving/Thanks theme!
Here is my project:
I hope you enjoyed my project! Sorry this is such a quick post, but I am back and forth between my job, and the hospital! But, I know for a fact that my DT sisters are not letting ANYONE down, so check out their inspiration, and then link up with us!
Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Telelphone Blog Hop!!!
Welcome to Made Especially For You's
Telephone Blog Hop!
If you've never heard of the "Telephone" game it's a game most often played by kids that simulates how a story can change from person to person, or how a rumor can start. For example, I may tell Susie that at lunch today I had a peanut butter sandwich, an apple, and some milk, and she may go tell Jackie that I had a turkey sandwich, an apple, and some milk. Although only one small detail was changed, over time the entire story can change. The game is played by starting with a story and whispering it from one person to the next in a circle and seeing how the story changed once the last person has told it.
We decided to play this game as a design team, not with stories, but with cards! Our DT leader Ashley started with a photo of a card, emailed it to someone, who then created a card based off her card, and sent a photo of it to the next person. As a design team, this is the first time we're seeing the progression of the cards!
Here is the photo of the card I received from KRISTY !!!! You should of arrived here from her blog! If not, please start at the beginning with ASHLEY!
For my card, I really drew upon the mailbox! I loved her stamp, and I wanted to create a BIG mailbox shaped card! Here is the card I created!!!
What fun is a blog hop without blog candy?! A couple of our design team members have donated some blog candy for those who comment on EVERY stop of the hop!
$15 Gift Certificate
Blog Candy Pictured Below

Hiding In My Craft Room-Super Scraps Saturday!
Hey All!!!
It's time for another HIDING IN MY CRAFT ROOM challenge!
This week, our theme is:
SUPER SCRAPS SATURDAY!!!
This week, I had a SLEW of scraps leftover from all my projects I made!! I was COMMITTED to making something awesome with my scraps this week, and truth be told, I think I WORKED it this week!!
Wanna see??
Don't you think it's awesome??? I made it on my Silhouette Cameo and I used the cut file from SVG Cuts ( Toil and Trouble ) to create the Apothecary Jar! Because it was multiple pieces cut to make 1 3D image, I was able to get the most out of my scraps!
For a little more of a spooky effect, I inked and distressed all the edges of EVERY piece and added Glossy Accents to the POISON label!
Ok, now I want you to check out the rest of the DT Teams projects!! Then, pull out YOUR scraps and enter your Super Scarps project HERE!
Ok all, hope to catch you Craftin and Stampin!

Scrapbook Friday at My Cricut Craft Room!
Please scroll down to next post for the "MONSTER MASH BLOG HOP" featuring Exploring Cricut and Made Especially For You!
Hey all!!!
Today is another post for My Cricut Craft Room!!!
Today's theme is:
Scrapbook Friday
Teacher theme for
World Teacher’s Day (does not have to be a school teacher…. I teach people
through Ustream, so get creative)
So...I wanted to get creative and think of a layout that I could make for someone who DOES teach, and not necessarily in school! So...I got to thinking....And here is what I thought of!!!
I made a 2 page layout for a Cooking Instructor using Kate's Kitchen and my Imagine!!!
I stiched recipe cards for the photo mats (with my Sew Easy) which are cut at 4 inches on the Imagine from the Kate's Kitchen cartridge. Even my background paper is from that cartridge!
I spelled out Cooking Class = Cooking with Class in my Cricut Craft Room using Craft Room Basics. I just love that font! I welded the letters of each word together as well!
I popped up the center images on each page with Pop Dots!
I hope you enjoyed my project today! Please check out the rest of my DT sisters over at My Cricut Craft Room! You will be amazed!!!
OK all, hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge at Exploring Cricut
Hey All!
Its time for another challenge over at Exploring Cricut!
The theme for today is Breast Cancer. Here are the details fort the challenge:
Create a Card, Layout, or Papercraft symbolizing hope against the fight of this terrible disease with pink and a sentiment.
This hit especially close to home for me this year because I now have someone close to me that I know that has this horrible disease...My Babci (Polish for grandmother, my mom's mother).
She found out 3 days prior to Christmas last year, and because my Babci is like a typical caring, wonderful woman, she decided not to tell anyone at Christmas what was going on. This INFURATIED me! How horrible must it have been to have this on your mind and not tell anyone or have anyone be there for you! She told me that she didnt want to ruin our Christmas or our vacation....WHAT???? BABCI!!! We are family, we NEED to know so we can be there for you! Well, needless to say once I DID find out, I have been there for her! She had a masatamy back in January, and has been on Chemo since. So far, all looks good! YEA!!!
So, today, this project is dedicated to her!!! LOVE YOU BABCI!!!

Can I tell you just HOW excited I was to challenge myself with creating an AWESOME project utilizing these cartridges??? Well, I can tell you I had a BLAST doing it!!!!

Witch from Autumn Celebrations
Zombie Man from Movable Monsters, but shadow background from A Frightful Affair
Pumpkins from A Frightful Affair
Ghost Tree from A Frightful Affair
Boo from A Frightful Affair and Moon from George and Basic Shapes. The picture mats were also from George and Basic Shapes
Tombstone with zombie hands is also from A Frightful Affair
Can I just tell you that this was the FIRST scrapbook layout I have made since World Scrapbooking Day??? How terrible is that??? But, I will say, I have enjoyed it SO MUCH, that I created 3 new scrapbook pages that I will save to show at a later day! And I also decided that I much more enjoy making blank layouts, THEN going in to put a picture in..MUCH EASIER to decide! I also decided that I really enjoy doing whole scenes, creating something around my pictures. Wait til you see what I have in store for you over the next few weeks!!!
So, I hope you enjoyed my project! If you did, I have the file saved on my Gypsy and CCR. I would be more than happy to send it to you!

Hey All!!
Today is a Color Challenge over at Hiding In My Craft Room!!!
For the color combo today, we will be using:
BLACK,
ORANGE
PURPLE
OOOOO..SO SPOOKY! I LOVE IT!!!
For my project today, I decided to make another Halloween Card! Once I decided on a card, I totally knew what image I wanted to use, and what die cutting machine! I chose the Free Shape of the week from the Silhouette Store which was the Mummy! I then knew I would be using my Cameo to cut this out! And can I tell you just how NICELY it cut? No crumbling, no tearing, no moving...PERFECT! And as you can see, this mummy was cut in 3 separate layers, and there was very small outer edges cut out, and it worked GREAT! See for yourself!

Theme Day Thursday at My Cricut Craft Room!
Hey All!!
It's time for another post for My Cricut Craft Room!!!
Today, its theme day Thursday!
For today's theme, we have Apples and Pumpkins! I chose a pumpkin card for Halloween! And what a cute little pumpkin card it ended up being!!!
I used Create A Critter for my little pumpkin friend, and I used scraps of paper left from last Halloween and Thanksgiving! Its a cute little bright pink shade in my background paper and I added some white gel pen stiching around him. I also used my letter stamps to spell out HEY PUMPKIN since I didnt have a stamp that said that! I popped it up on some pop dots, so it just RIGHT out at you! I used Pumpkin Pie ink from Stampin' Up to do some shading around my pumpkin and around my saying, which I also used Pumpkin Pie ink for!
Please check out the rest of the AWESOME design team's projects today by clicking HERE! Also, please check out the post that Erica put up about some changes going on with the Cricut Craft Room! You can find that post HERE! You will want to scroll to the bottome of the post for that info! SUPER GREAT STUFF coming!!!
