Hiding In My Craft Room-MIX IT UP (with a Christmas Theme)!

Click HERE to shop with me, 24 hours a day!!!

Hey All!!!

WOW....Can I just say that I am E-HAUST-ED after Thursday and Friday??? My body feels like I have aged like 10 years from lack of sleep and being so tried! I need a break! However, it wont be today! I have another craft show (fingers crossed for a good one) and then I am having my friends and family over for our annual Santa Fire Engine Parade! 7 neighboring towns, along with ours, "dress up" their fire engines and get them all decked out and they drive through my town, and finish the big guy himself! The exciting part this year is that it goes RIGHT IN FRONT OF  MY HOUSE! We can just all sit on the porch and watch it go by! It will be SOOO nice!! Speaking of Christmas, we have a challenge!!!

Over at HIMCR, our challenge this week is to MIX IT UP-with a Christmas Theme!

For me, Mixing it up, would be using something I don't typically use or do with my card making.

I made a gift card for you all to see! Wanna see it???

From looking at this, can you tell what I mixed up??? Not sure? Well, I'll tell you! I didn't use a SINGLE ELECTRONIC CUTTING MACHINE ITEM on my card!!! What?????? NO???? I really didn't!!!

Supplies:

Cutting Machine- BIG SHOT: Stampin' Up
Die- Top Note Die: Stampin' Up
Die cut: K&Co Spotted Canary Die Cut Pack
Paper: Michael's Sugarplums 6X6 paper pad
Adhesive- Pop Dots and ATG
TOOLS: Eyelets: AC Moore, Twine: AC Moore

Can I just say how EASY it was to make this card? And I used things I don't typically use! I love my ELECTRIC die cutting machines, so it was nice to give them a break for today!!!

So, now I would LOVE for you to all check out my DT sisters pages! They all did some AWESOME projects as well! Your gonna love them!!!

Then, go on back and link up your MIX IT UP project at Hiding In My Craft Room!!

OK all! Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Guest Designer Tip for My Creative Cutter Room!

Hey All!!

Today is my guest designer tip day at Creative Cutter Room!

For today's tip, I wanted to show you how using these tools:

Can help you make these:

HOW STINKING COOL, right???

Well, to make it EVEN easier, I made a video...Check it out below:

Supplies:

Paper
Ruler
Pencil
Toothpicks
Stryphone Block
Stampin' Up Crystal Effects (BUY FROM ME! Click HERE!)
Bic Markers

The measurements that I used are: 1 1/4 x 5 inches. To get the triangle shape, I marked the middle of 1 1/4 inches which is 5/8 of an inch, and from that 5/8 inch mark, I went down 5 inches. From that 5 inch point, I took the ruler and drew a line to the 1 1/4 inch mark. Then I repeated back at the 0 mark I made. SUPER EASY!!!

Here is what you can do to get them to dry:

OK all! I hope you enjoyed my tip!!! Thanks for watching!!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

New Challenge at Exploring Cricut! Thanksgiving!

Shop with me!! Click Here!!

Hey All!!
Its time for another challenge over at Exploring Cricut!

Here is the info for our new challenge!

Challenge "Count Your Blessings":
Create a card, layout, or paragraphed celebrating Thanksgiving.

For my project, I wanted to decorate my branch at work again for Thanksgiving. We are doing a food drive in my branch for our fellow co-workers who have been effected by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. That just hit way to close to home for all of us, and we couldn't bear to see our teammates, friends, and frankly because we are such a small bank, we are like family! We are gathering for Thanksgiving and for Christmas for them!

So, I brought in my friendly Cricut and my Gypsy and went to town! Here are the pictures of my branch:

My teller whole teller line

The teller station. I put falling leaves in 4 different colors on top, and their names on the bottom. Don't mind me in the background, lol! It's a marble teller line, so you see my reflection in it!

A closer shot of another Turkey. This is Ulana's station.

The circles in the Food Drive picture above are for customers to write their names on. We are still debating on wither or not we want to do an "I'm Thankful Wall". But, I just got this kicked out on Saturday evening, so no names were on when I left!

I think the girls will like their new name plates better then the RIP name plates I made them for Halloween. They all HATED seeing their names that way! Next, time, I'll ask! LOL!!!

For this project, I used: Create A Critter, Nate's ABC's, George and Basic Shapes, and my Gypsy to weld the letters of my tellers names!

OK, so this is what I have for Thanksgiving, what do you have to be thankful for? Time to create and enter for your chance to win a SWEET prize!!

Make sure you check out the rest of the Design Teams projects first!!

OK all, hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

K-Cup Holder SVG for sale, Stampin' Up , and other goodies!

Hey All!!

I am FINALLY back to being able to do routine posts and videos again!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!

Mom finally is home and getting into a routine with her therapy at home, and she is starting to feel like her old self again! Big Brandon is up to the same stuff, and Bub is enjoying school and FINALLY into a routine where he knows what to do when he gets home! Something to eat, homework, reading, THEN playtime!

As for me, TONS of exciting things have been going on! Got a big craft show coming up Thursday night! Got TONS of great things made for it! I will be showing off some items over the next few days!

I rejoined Stampin' Up again. It was a VERY hard decision for me, because I LOVE Close To My Heart products and ESPECIALLY the Cricut Cartridges, but, for me it was more difficult to sell and unfortunately, I did not care for their paper. You ALL know I have a love affair with my paper! LOL! Also, it was VERY difficult to navigate through the online ordering and understanding where I stood for the month. It is a WONDERFUL company, but, just not for me! So, I rejoined my Stampin' Up clan again! I LOVE IT!!! I joined under the NUMBER ONE sales woman in the company, Tami White! I hope she is impressed with what I can do! I wanna make her proud!!! And FYI, the NEW STAMPIN' TRIMMER was just released and I have it!! It's a WONDERFUL little addition to any craft room! Click the picture below to go right to my Stampin' Up online store to purchase the new Stampin' Trimmer for $29.95!!!

Another thing that happened was that I am no longer affiliated with My Cricut Craft Room. As you all know, I am in customer service for my day job. I ADORE MY JOB! I may complain that I am tired and all, but, its my love! I thrive from helping my customers, and being there for them! I love learning about them and their families, and I enjoy being a part of their "family"if you will. With that being said, and with all the negative information I have been hearing and finding out on my own, I no longer am with My Cricut Craft Room. For me, if it was not for my customers, I would not have a job. Even with Stampin' Up, if I do not have customers, I can not afford my crafty lifestyle! I appreciate my customers each and every day! So, for the owner of My Cricut Craft Room to not appreciate and help out her customers when they need her, well, I just cannot be affiliated with that. I decided three weeks ago that it was time to step down. BUT, that was not the end of my Design Team friendships, nope, not at all! Stay tuned for the beginning of the year for more info on that!!!

The final new venture that I am taking is that I am now creating SVG files! I ADORE my Silhouette Cameo and my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, so I decided to take that love affair and see what I can do with it!!! I will have a page to purchase my SVG's on my blog! They will be for the most part, $.99 as I start! So, would you like to see the first thing I created????

I created a K-Cup box which is PERFECT for gift giving, craft shows, teacher gifts, etc! This SVG set is for the Silhouette Cameo, and comes with:

Lid
Bottom of box
Box insert to hold 4 K-Cups
Patterned Piece cut outs for top of lid, sides of lid, and sides of box bottom
Belly band for the box
Tag for stamp

I hope you enjoy it! You can purchase it for $.99 by clicking below!

I will email you within the same business day of payment.

OK all! Thanks so much for listening to my info!! And I hope you will purchase my 1st ever SVG  for sale!!!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Hiding In My Craft Room Super Scraps Saturday!!!

Hey All!!!

WHEW, what a week!!! I am EXHAUSTED!!! I am very much ready for my three day weekend to begin! I have a LOT of crafty time planned for this weekend because we have a big craft show coming up on Thursday! I CANT WAIT! Its in my town, so my friends get to see a little more of what I do when I am at home!!

As for today, its SUPER SCRAPS SATURDAY over at Hiding In My Craft Room! This is ALWAYS one of my favorite days, because as I have said time and time again, I love paper. I have a paper obsession, and I REFUSE to get rid of even the tinest scrap...especially if it can be used! Well, for super scraps Saturday, we use our scraps to create a project!

For my project today, I pulled out some design paper to use on my project. I had just made a bunch of items with this paper for my craft show and I loved the designs, so I made that scrap paper into a card!! Check it out:

Very basic card, But I love it! I love the colors, I love the placement I used, and I love that I saved a banner cut from the Silhouette Store to use for my sentiment! That was also a scrap from a project I made (that I still need to share with you all because it made it into Cutting Edge Magazine)!! I used my Martha Stewart leaf punch, Stampin' Up square punch, and my We R Memory Keepers corner rounder punch. Took me 5 minutes from start to finish. LOVE FAST CARDS!

OK all, make sure you check out my DT sisters projects as well, and then link YOUR project up over at Hiding In My Craft Room!!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!!!
