My LAST shopping haul for a while BUT I show AND tell you why! Prompts Containers!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!!

So...its time to show my last shopping haul....yea, like that would EVER happen! LOL! I'm only kidding on the last part! I just recently made this decision after I went looking to take inventory of my Scrap Stash on the new app for the buying at Scrapbook Expo! I found SO many things that I hardly ever use! Like my Stickles, Embossing Folders, Stamp Sets, Card Making Kits, etc. That was EXACTLY  the wake up call I needed to show my self that I need to step back and take a BACK TO SCRAPBOOK BASICS assessment!

I thought about how I would do this, and I think I came up with the BEST idea!! I made PROMPTING Cans! I have Prompts for:

Project Type (Project Life, Cards, Smash, SNAP, etc)
Machines (Cricut, Silhouette Cameo, Big Shot, etc)
Stamps (Stampin' Up, Jaded Blossom, Unity, Close To My Heart, etc)
Paper Line (DCWV, Recollections Patterned, Echo Park, etc)
Embellishments (Buttons, Brads, Ribbon, Eyelets, etc)
Optional Extras (Copics, Stampin' Write, Pastels, etc)

I have devised  a system as to how I will determine how I will use this prompts, and I show you in the video below! I actually picked for next week already! AND ITS A GOOD PICK ;)

Here's the video!

If any of you are interested to know what I put in each container, please leave a comment below and I will email you what I used!

OK all, hope to catch you Craftin' and Stampin'!

Card Made With Studio G's Stamps

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All,

Yesterday was once again a sad day for our nation, they bombing of the Boston Marathon. It actually affected ALL nations seeing as I believe I heard 90 nations compete in it. And I just awoke to the news that a poor, innocent, 8 year old boy from Dorchester was one of those that was killed. Makes me wanna hug my 8 year old all the much more! I just hope that we can find whoever did this, and have it bring justice to all those who were affected by this senseless tragedy yesterday!

After being as upset as I was yesterday, I decided to make a card to remind myself their is always gonna be Sunshine and Happiness the next day. It will still hurt, but you have to keep moving forward to feel good again. I hope that makes sense what I am saying.

Here is the quick card I created:

DCWV October Afternoon Mat Stack
Studio G Stamp Set
1 inch circle punch-Stampin' Up
Label Punch-Stampin' Up
Heart and Cloud Washi Tape-Washi Tape Guy
Pool Party, Tangerine Tango, and Pacific Blue Ink Pads-Stampin' Up

This card took me 5 minutes. I challenged myself, and I made it happen! I will be starting something new for us card makers out there that have SOOOO many tools and embellishments that we get overwhelmed. I am going back to basics with card making! I will be sharing in my post tomorrow, so be sure to check it out!

Crafty Hugs and Prayers for Boston and all those affected!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

WARNING: PICTURE HEAVY!!!

Hey All!

Soooo I am BACK from my Expo!! I had a WONDERFUL TIME!! I did think at first it was not meant to be for me to go because of all the obstacles I ran into on Friday morning before I got there, but I truly believe I was meant to go! I did go by myself, but I made some AMAZING women and learned some things from them! I also had a FANTASTIC time volunteering! I worked with a woman name Lois for my first shift (her hubby was Jerry) and they are from Washington. I WISH I would of had a way to contact her cause we wanted to keep in touch! So, if anyone knows Lois from the Scrapbook Expo out of Washington, please send her my way!!

So, I wont go into the whole story, cause I tell the whole story on my video, which is below. I will, instead, just go into showing you all the pictures from the Expo itself!

This was the midnight Crop area. I worked in the VERY back where it says "TRY IT OUT". That was the tool area! If you paid for a ticket for in there, you could use ALL the tools for free! And they had A TON you could use!

This was Nicole Peterson booth. She had the whole selection of the new Heidi Swapp Color Pop line. BUT, she was rather expensive. Nice booth set up! She was the ONLY ONE that sold Unity Stamps there!

This booth was Rubber Red Neckers out of CA. They had an AMAZING booth! Everything was VERY organized! LOVED IT! They also were the only one set up to sell the CANDI. It was buy 4 get 1 package free. No need to tease me! 4 and 1 free please!

This was the Melissa Frances booth. You cant see the best parts of the booth set up cause people were hanging all around it. Their setup was very creative and they had one of the best deals!

Here is Scraputante! Her booth was AWESOME! She had a TON of paper! Paper that was American made, and paper made in Poland I believe! It was very cool! She was who I went to for my Color Pop paper! Go Kelly! Her booth was HOPPING all day!

This was the CREATE area. It was SO hard to get a seat to be able to do a make and take. This was the booth from the Scrapbook Expo people. Super cute make and takes. Bummed I couldn't do it!

Here was SCRAP THAT...See the women in the middle? They are all huddled around the paper buckets! The paper there was $.33 or if you bought 40, it was $.25 a sheet! Nothing in that booth was over $2.50 I believe! They had some great stuff!

Here was the guy with all the Washi Tape. He had a BUNCH to choose from! Wish I would of went to him first! Better Prices.

Ahh...to be rich...to hit the lottery...to own one of these!

This was Saturday morning's giveaway! Look! You could win a Scrap Box!!!
Here was my number I stood on for The Numbers Game...

And here is what I won!! WHOOP WHOOP!

Here's all my earnings for the day, minus the $50 I spent from the morning!

By Scrapbook Expo! Until next year!!!

So, I'm glad I warned you that this post would be pic heavy, cause guess what? Now here are the pictures of my haul items!

All layed out on my table!

CANDI!!!

My Washi Tapes!

Prima Wood Veneers!

Bags of random buttons and eyelets!

Double Sided Tape and Pop Dots

Both stamp sets that I purchased

Our Freebies from going to the Expo!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!!!

Guess what??? It's SCRAPBOOK EXPO DAY!!! This is the first time I am have EVER gone to a Scrapbook ANYTHING! I mean, I've been been to 2 crops my entire paper crafting career, and I know the layout of every Michael's in 3 counties, but this is supposed to be amazing!!!

So, since I plan on bringing my weekly "allowance" to the Expo (and even working there from 8-12 for some MORE moola), I wanted to be SURE of the crafty stuff in my craft room. So, I downloaded the "Scrap Stash" app from the I-Phone App Store, and got to work!

ScrapStash for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

The app is SUPER user friendly, and SUPER convenient! It can allow you to search companies, tool names, and colors! I am SOOOO glad I can FINALLY add my embossing folders, Stickles, and Distress Inks into an easy app so I will ALWAYS know which ones I have! I'll tell you that I missed out on TONS of sales on Distress Inks because I would forget to look before I to to the store!

If I can help make ANY CRAFTERS life easier, PLEASE download that app!! Here is the link to the I-Tunes store to get it!

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scrapstash/id483227632?mt=8

So, since I'll have my awesome app, some money, and my bags, I plan on getting some goodies from the booths!! I will also be carrying my camera and camcorder around with me so that I can shot some great You Tube videos and pics for my Blog!!! I MAY even check in with a on the spot video!!!

OK all! Hope to catch you Craftin' and Stampin'!

Happy 8th Birthday Bubba!!!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!!!

Today is my little man's 8th birthday! WHERE DID THE TIME GO??? I remember when I first found out I was going to have him like it was yesterday! And I remember the day I had him, and the shock I was in that I was having him so early! I seriously feel like I blinked and he is growing up WAY TO QUICK!!!

I know I posted this picture before, but this is my FAVORITE picture of my little man! This was when he was 1 month old! Look how LITTLE he was! I believe he was only about 5 1/2 pounds in this picture!!! My little baby!

And here he is as of tonight! He put together his FIRST set of Lego's all by himself! He was so proud! This is the first of many things that he will not need my help with through the years. BUT, I will always be right there for the second he does need/want my help! Just like I was tonight!!

I am leaving my post that I am crying my eyes out on with the banner I made him for his big slumber party tonight! He is an avid Nickelodeon fan, so I used the Nickelodeon font with a black banner background!

As you can see, he is sitting in the background waiting for me to open more Lego's for him! Its time for mommas help :)

Happy 8th Birthday Baby! Mommy and Daddy love you! Your the best thing I EVER did with my life!!!

OK All, hope to catch you Craftin' and Stampin'!

Super Cute Double Sided Recipe Cards

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!

WOW! I wanted to post SO many days this week since I was off, but holy cow, things seem to come up ALL THE TIME! It all started this way on Easter! I had a bunch of stuff that I wanted to post pictures of from this weekend, and it just started quick where I was needed in multiple places at once! And, to top it all off that day, I got another Aura Migraine.

This things come on USUALLY from a sudden drop in pressure, or a quick change from a super high to super low, or a change in temp. This one came on for NO GOOD REASON! Well, I was the one cooking Easter Dinner, and lets just say it was a good thing that I was running early because I was down and out for a straight half hour. If I don't keep my eyes closed the whole time and pop at least 3 Advil as SOON as I know its coming on, I am done for the whole day. Thankfully I caught it as soon as I knew my vision was going "funny". The way it feels when it comes on is what you see when you look at the sun. All blurry and spots; that's how they start. Like I said, if I catch it RIGHT THEN with the pills and closed eyes I am good. And when an actually headache starts, that's when I know the Aura part of the Migraine is over. Headache I can tolerate, my vision getting distorted I cant.

Then, on Monday, I spent a good amount of time in my Craft Room, but it was spent fixing my Silhouette Studio software! It went all crazy after I did the download for the new version! So, we just decided to run to some stores to get some things we needed for this week. Tuesday was spent running around for my sons birthday party this week. We had one on Wednesday for our family, and we are having his "friend" party on Friday. A sleepover with 4 eight year olds...oh boy...pray for me! They are going to have me in a panic the whole time I bet!

On Wednesday morning before everyone came over, I managed to get the Recipe card made for my girlfriends Bridal Shower invite. Can I just say that it came at the PERFECT time in the Silhouette Store! It was a 2 sided recipe card. I have made 2 sided items before with a Lettering Delights file, so I was not worried about how to make it, but I saw a tutorial come across my Facebook feed from Silhouette Blog. You can find that tutorial HERE.

Here are what they look like! They are AWESOME!

I LOVE that they are double sided! I made 40 of them in NO time at all! I will be making some for me as soon as I have time to! LOL!

OK all, I have cards I have to make for Paper Crafts Magazine! I am DETERMINED to get into that magazine!!!

Hope to find you all Craftin' and Stampin'!
