Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!

So, my BFF's Bridal Shower has FINALLY happened! It has been a LONG time coming, but its finally over! She had such a great time! Even though she hates being the center of attention, she still enjoyed it all! We had it at a little Italian Restaurant near us, and it was great! She even surprised us! She did know, but that was still OK!

Here is the beautiful bride to be!

We had it set up very lovely! It was a nice intimate occasion!

Here is the card I made her. Now, this is NOT an original design. I remember seeing this card made a ways back (I think it was on Stampin' Connection), and I cant remember who I saw create this! BUT, if you know, please comment below so I can give proper credit!

These are her colors. Its like a Marine Blue and a Lime Green. They look REALLY pretty together! This card took about 15 minutes to make. VERY EASY! Here are the supplies I used:

Big Shot
Cricut Pinking Stitch Embossing Folder
Stampin' Up Square Lattice Embossing Folder
Stampin' Up Large Heart Punch
Stampin' Up Everyday Enchantment Ribbon-Lucky Limeade
Recollections Paper
Pearls from my stash
Sentiment from Jaded Blossom Set (I believe it is now retired)

She really liked this card. I wrote a little something in there for her! I cried as I wrote it. I am such a such a sap! LOL!

OK all, Hope to catch you Craftin' and Stampin'!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mother's out there!!! I just woke up and sadly I feel a little crappy. BUT, I feel crappy cause I had a great time with great friends last night! After such a horrible week, I needed to have some time for relaxing with drinks and good company. And I did just that. I laughed, I drank, I laughed, I drank some more. It was a great night; and I am CERTAINLY paying for it now!

Today, for Mother's Day, hubby is taking me and the bub to Ocean City NJ for the day! It's supposed to be a nice day, and its before the peak season hits so it will be nice. They will open the rides around 1 so the kids can go on. Mom's will get to ride free! And everywhere you go and make a purchase, they will give the moms a carnation. Its so cute! I can tell you that Ocean City Coffee Co, Mac's Pizza, Kohr Bros, and Old Salt will be giving me carnations today cause they are the stops in that particular order that we will be making! Then, we can look in all the other stores!

I have to admit, now that we have this house, I cant wait to see what goodies I can get for our porch! Everyone says our porch is great and that it REALLY feels like a "shore house" porch! We get a great breeze, and a great view!

So, I actually wanted to shout out to my wonderful sister in law Colleen for the project I am about to show off for her. She made this awesome Mother's Day gift card holder/pillow box for our craft show, and I wanted to show it off for her today!

This pillow box is just TOO cute! I love it! She used Artiste for it! Isn't it great??

OK all, go enjoy this beautiful day with those you love! Keep them close and enjoy them!!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

I went to Michael's for a Lego City Person book, I SWEAR!!!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!!

So after the week I had, I needed a break. My great grandmother passed away on Wednesday night. She was 88 and she was suffering. She had a stroke years ago that she was never able to bounce back from. She was getting infection after infection after infection that her body could no longer fight off, and she was just TIRED...that's it, TIRED. She was upset that her body would not work when her mind did, and she was tired of relying on other people to help her. She needed to be on hospice for the last 3 weeks, and like I said, she was tired; she slept for the last 2 weeks, and she passed in her sleep.

She was a wonderful woman. I may not of been AS CLOSE with her as I grew up due to jobs, family, etc., but she knew I was always there for her. She adored my son, and he know how to understand where she went. He was making my Babci (Polish for Grandmother) laugh on Wednesday night, and she said that was what she needed to help her with loosing her mother. He was such a big help! He made everyone forget their sorrows at this time, and enjoy celebrating her life.

So, last night, I told him since he was such a great big helper, I would talk him to pick out a SMALL present. He said, "OK". I said "what will it be"? He said "You know how you ALWAYS make me wait around with you in the craft store when you go? (I laughed)Well, last time I saw a Lego book I wanted there". That concept is crazy to me...go to Michael's for a LEGO BOOK? Not a Smash Book or Sn@p Book? WHHHHHHAAAAAATTTTTT????

Well, as you know, I have put a HALT to my shopping UNTIL I USE MY ITEMS IN MY CRAFT ROOM! I have SLOWLY been making a dent into my items. I have not been able to use a lot of time in my craft room lately because of time constraints. BUT, on Mothers Day that will change, lol.

So off to Michael's we go...for a Lego Book. And you ALL know I was not gonna just get the Lego book and bounce...NOPE! I NEEDED to see what was going on in there! You know, like a moth to a flame type stuff???

Well, I get in there, and it changed!!!! They redid the Stamp and Ink aisle, the button aisle, the Smash aisle, everything!!! I even found some new goodies hiding in there...check these out!!

New Heidi Swapp stuff! They are stencils for Color Shine's! SUPER CUTE!! They were $3.99 for small & $5.99 for the big ones!

Look at all the new TIM HOLTZ Stuff!!! VERY COOL! New colors of Distress Ink are coming out too!!!

The new Recollections Date stamps and new Hero Arts, Momenta, and Recollections Stamps!

The We R Memory Keeper pages for the scrapbook were $1.79! I couldn't get a picture cause too many people were around it!

I was pretty impressed over all!

So that was it...All I got was the Lego City Book...At least I got to use a 40% off coupon on it so it made me FEEL like I was crafty shopping!!!

OK all, just wanted to fill you in!

Hope to catch you Craftin' and Stampin'!

Teacher Appreciation Week Day 5! Chocolate Nugget Tin!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!!

Today is Day 5 of Teacher Appreciation Week!! Its the last day! We had a great week showing off different projects for the teachers! Here is a quick rundown for what I did for the week:

For Day 5, I am going to show you a SO VERY SIMPLE project that I made for this week.

Its a Chocolate Nugget Tin! Here are the supplies I used:

Tin (mine is from a company called Speciality Bottle. Click HERE for the website)
Hershey Chocolate Nuggets (12 per tin)
12 strips of patterned card stock cut into 1"x 3" strips. (I used DCWV The Grade School Stack for my project)
Solid piece of card stock. Mine is the blue piece for the belly band, and I cut it at 2 1/2" x 8 1/2".
Embellishments to decorate for a teacher theme.
Scotch Quick Dry

So, I took my 12 pieces of chocolate and my 12 pieces of patterned paper, and I wrapped the paper around the nuggets. I used a bit of Scotch Quick Dry to keep the paper adhered together, but not adhered to the chocolate. It should be able to slide of the piece of candy. I did that 12 times.

Next, I put the candy inside the tin, and got ready to make my belly band. To make the belly band, all I did was fold it around the tin. No scoring, no matching fold lines, just fold it around. Make sure its kind of snug, but not to snug where you cant pull it off. Glue the one end of the belly band to the other and then its all ready to keep you tin closed!

Finally, add your decorations! I just made mine very simple. The teacher I gave one to last year said that it was so cute she didn't want to open it. Well, that ment she did not get a chance to enjoy the chocolates, so I did not make these ones as nice because I want to them enjoy it! Then, when all the candy is eaten, the teacher can use this tin to add paper clips, tacks, stickers, etc to it!

OK all! That's it! I hope you enjoyed my projects this week for Teacher Appreciation Week! If you couldn't get the projects done in time this year, remember my blog for next year!!!

Hope to find you Craftin' and Stampin'!

Teacher Appreciation Week-Day 4! Seed Slider!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!!

Today is Day 4 of Teacher Appreciation Week!!

For today's gift, I made a Seed Slider! You could also use this as a Hot Chocolate Slider! It was SO VERY EASY to make!!!

Here is what it looks like:

To make this slider, you will need to follow some very simple instructions!

The supplies you need are:

Solid Card stock
Pattern Card stock
Double Sided Tape
Hole Punch
Ribbon
Stamps for decorating

First, you will need to cut a solid piece of card stock to act as the base. It needs to be 7 3/4" X 5 1/2". Then, you need a piece of patterned paper which needs to be cut at 7 3/4" X 4 1/2". You can glue the patterned paper on top of the base and get ready for step two.

Next, take your scoreboard or your trimmer and score along the 7 3/4" side at 3 5/8" and then again at 1/2". Fold along your score lines. On the 1/2" piece, apply a piece of double sided tape all along it. Then, fold it together. It will look like a sleeve.

Now, you will need to take a hole punch and punch a hole big enough for your ribbon to fit through it. For this part, I DO NOT CUT MY RIBBON. I measure it inside the hole with the seed packet in there! I thread the ribbon through both holes, and I place the slider inside WHILE I AM HOLDING THE RIBBON. This is what makes the slider! Once the seed packet is in there, THAT is when I cut my ribbon! That way there is no waste!!!

To finish, you tie a bow with your ribbon (mine bow did not want to stay as I was taking the picture, lol). You can add any stamps you wish to decorate it. You can round your corners of the slider.

 That's it!!!

OK all, come on back tomorrow to catch the last project for Teacher Appreciation Week!!

Hope to find you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Teacher Appreciation Week Day 3-Sticky Pad Holder!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!!

Today is Day 3 of Teacher Appreciation Week!!

I have another SUPER QUICK project for you! This one LITERALLY took my 5 minutes to finish, and the teachers just ADORE it!!

This is a Sticky Pad Notepad Holder! It is a 4 x 6 acrylic frame that I put a piece of patterned paper in, decorated the front and added a piece of the matching patterned paper to a PENTEL pen. The piece of the patterned paper for the pen was 1 x 3 for me at least! You just unscrew the top of the pen, roll the paper tight around the ink, and place back in the pen. You cant really tell from this picture, but the pen is decorated!

For the notepad, you will need double sided tape. You need to put it on the back of the pad real good so it stays down when you rip the sticky note off!

The piece of patterned paper for the holder piece should measure 4 X6. My frame must of been a little off because my paper was a little smaller than 4 inches and a little smaller than 6 inches.

Now, decorate away! I had that sticker from the other project I did, and I thought it would be SUPER CUTE to have for this project!!

OK all, check back tomorrow for ANOTHER project!!!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Teacher Appreciation Week Day 2! Lip Balm Purse!

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All!!

Today is day 2 for Teacher Appreciation week! For today's project, I made a Lip Balm Purse!

During the holiday craft shows, these sold like CRAZY! Not just for teachers, but as stocking stuffer's for little girls or gifts from little girls to mom! So, these are just not made for Teacher Appreciation, but you can make them for ANY female holiday!!

Here is a picture of the lip balm purse:

Here is the picture of the template I found online at Split Coast Stampers to follow to make this:

If you go to THIS BLOG, you will find more detailed instructions on making a bunch at a time. I only made 5, so I didn't follow her steps exactly, but I did follow!

For making this lip balm purse, I had a BUNCH of adhesive back stickers that said things about teachers that I got at AC Moore. The package did not have a title, nor a name of who made them!

The difference I found in making these was that I wanted to add just a slight tough more. I used my Crop a Dile and put in an eyelet to give it a little extra spark!

OK all! Check back tomorrow for Day 3 of Teacher Appreciation Gifts!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Hey All!

OH MY GOSH! So sorry I have been MIA for a while there! I had SO MUCH going on with my mother in laws surprise party, and craft shows, and my day job being short staffed that I had NO TIME to post here! I haven't even had time to use my prompt containers to do my project life! AHHHH! BUT, at least because of making a ton of stuff for our craft show, I have a weeks worth of cute projects for you!! WOO HOO!!!

So, today, I was part of the Teacher Appreciation Week committee at my sons school. I was in charge of getting the breakfast necessities for this week! BUT, did I remember that last night?? NOPE! So guess who was at the food store at 7:00 this morning to get my items for today! I did get them all in time and the teachers already seem to love their week!!!

As for a goodie for teachers, I made these for my son's teachers as well as the Craft Show! I have my K-Cup file HERE in my Etsy Store. Its a GREAT file that you can use for EVERY OCCASION! And its a nice gift for either a male or a female!! And EVERYONE loves coffee!!!

Here is the K-Cup box for Teacher Appreciation Week:

(Please do not mind the mess I made on the floor! I knocked over my stamp stand and EVERYTHING went everywhere, lol!)

Supplies:
Craftin' and Stampin' K-Cup Box
Recollections Paper (Back To School  8 1/2 x 11 pack)
Jaded Blossom Stamps- School Rules
Silhouette Cameo and Design Studio
ATG
Pop Dots
K-Cups

I really hope my kiddos teachers like them! And after they use the K-Cups, they can use the box to store little items in (paper clips, tacks, magnets, stickers, etc)!

OK All, Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!
