Hi All!
Welcome to the Abusive Relationship Awareness Blog Hop. While this may not be your typical blog hop theme, we decided to put together this hop in order to shed light on a topic that often goes unspoken about, when the truth is many of us have either been in an abusive relationship or know of someone who has. We're here not to celebrate abusive relationships, but to bring hope to those who have been firsthand or secondhand victims and to provide awareness to help put an end to this growing problem.
All of our projects showcased in this hop have something to do with hope, love, and encouragement. The color for domestic violence is purple, and as you'll see purple was used on many of our projects.
Here is my project!!! I created a view master card! I thought butterflies would be PERFECT to symbolize rising above abusive relationships!!

ReplyDeletevery beautiful card. A close friend and I both got butterfly tattoos shortly after getting out of abusive relationships. We now live thousands of miles apart but we are forever connected with our hearts.

Hi Jess, I saw this on your blog all day and I have to say this hop hits home for me. I lost my cousin to an abusive relationship. She was getting ready to leave her boyfriend. Got home with the cops and he shot her in the head when she walked through the door. He also die because he ran and he was shooting at the cops. Thanks so much for sharing.
