For my project today, I created a card that I actually case'd from Pinterest! I can't remember WHERE on Pinterest I saw it, but it was a creation of Dawns Stamping Thoughts!

I loved the simple layout of this card, and I wanted to recreate it with our Huntington paper!!!

Quickie Gift Bag Re-Do using Sparkle and Shine Paper and Artbooking!

Hey All!!

Can I just tell you how IN LOVE I am with the Artbooking Cartridge??? I wanted to start getting on my holiday crafting and I wanted to take a picture of something in a holiday gift bag, and guess what??? NO GIFT BAGS!!! AHHH! I did, however, have a TON of Valentines Day bags left over, and when I saw them, I KNEW I could re-purpose it!!!

I grabbed my Artbooking Cartridge, and the NEW Sparkle and Shine B & T Duos paper, and I went to work!!!

Here is what I came up with!!

I had a large piece of scrap green from some random paper I had, so I used that as the backdrop (garland) that I cut out on the Cricut. Then, I cut out a Tree from the Artbooking Cartridge! I used my Gypsy (but you could use CCR) to size it up correctly for the bag!

I then, used a piece of red scrap that I had and I adhered the piece I cut out of Artbooking (looks like garland) to. I cut around the edge, to make it fit, then, I used a 2 pieces of Sparkle & Shine Washi tape (Green Washi down first, then layers Silver Washi over it. Both came in the 3 pack!!!). After I did that, I placed the tree on, but thought it needed something to break up the color, so I cut an oval out of the Art Philosophy Cartridge at 1 inch. After I layed that oval down, THEN I put my tree up on foam tape on the front!

DONE!!

I'll admit, its not exactly "Christmasy" colors, but I really like it!

Sneak Peak of My Nephew's 8 X 8 Mini Album!

Hey All!!

SO... My precious nephew is ADORABLE! I had to go up and see him again today because I could not stop thinking about him! He is SOOO cute and I wanna squeeze and love him all the time! So, since he was on my mind as much as he was, I figured I would make an 8 X 8 mini album for my brother and sister in law to put some pics into!

Here is the first 2 pages I finished!

The little green envelope came from Artbooking as well and it has the holes punched already so it can go in the book as well and hold important little keepsakes!!!

Decorating the Modville My Crush Book from Close To My Heart!

Hey All!

This post is gonna be a short one today folks! I have the PTA meeting at my kiddos school tonight and we also have the book fair there and he is PUSHING me out of my Craft Room, lol!!

Here is the front page of my new My Crush Book (Modville-Z1855 $12.95) from Close To My Heart! I ADORE this book and I cannot WAIT to get all my memories CRUSHED into it!! Its an AMAZING book!
