Hiding In My Craft Room-3 Favorite Colors!

Hey All!!!

It feels like its been FOREVER since my last post! So much has happened around here, its not even funny! We are THANKFULLY all safe and sound after Hurricane Sandy came through NJ. I wish I could say the same for the Jersey Shore :( Its SO HORRIBLE what has happened there! I just cannot get over the devastation! I really want to try to get out to show my support and help with getting the shore cleaned up!

I am thinking also about setting up a donation box on my blog. All the proceeds that I collect will go to the families at the shore to help with clean up. I am also thinking of setting up a gift fund. I know its probably the last thing on the families minds, but the holidays are coming up, and I am a FIRM believer that every child should wake up to at least 1 toy on Christmas morning. I will talk more about this idea at a later time though!

For today, we have a challenge over at HIDING IN MY CRAFT ROOM, and for today, our challenge is to use your 3 favorite colors, along with an image that was so kindly donated from Scrapbook Stamp Society!

As for my favorite colors, my favs change throughout the seasons! The ONLY color I love ALL the time is Purple! BUT, when I am putting 3 or more together for a season, I have my favs! For instance, for Autumn, I LOVE Browns, Reds, and Turquoise colors! Don't know why, but I ADORE them together! So, that's what I chose for this post!

Here is my card:

I know it seems rather simple, but I did not want to overpower the BEAUTIFUL image that I colored from the Scrapbook Stamp Society! I even found a page from my new DCWV Autumn Splendor DSP! Doesn't it go together so nicely? I even found Turquoise ribbon that I put in the middle of the card to pull out the color of her flower!

I hope you enjoyed my card! Please make sure you check out the rest of the girls projects over at Hiding In My Craft Room! Then be sure to link up your project!!!

OK All!! Hope to find you Craftin' and Stampin'!
