I was VERY excited to make this project! BUT, I was very leery as time went on cause I didn't know what I was going to make! FINALLY, on Thursday, a SUPER CUTE cut file came into the Silhouette Online Store and I KNEW that was what I wanted to make for my Back To School Project!!!

 

Here is my project! I made a Backpack!!! Its SUPER cute if I do say so myself!!! I even added a piece of "flair" to my backpack, just like I used to do when I was in grade school!!

Welcome to Made Especially For You's 2 Year Blogoversary Blog Hop!

I have know Ashley for 2 years now! I was on the ME4U DT for a year, and I loved EVERY minute of it! I made new crafty friends for her, and I learned a lot! Ashley was so kind and took the time to help explain a BUNCH of blog info to me, seeing as it was my first DT that I was on! I will never forget her for that! When she said it was the ME4U 2 year anniversary, I wanted to pay if forward and be there for her! So, thank you so much for all you did Ashley! Enjoy this occasion!

Hey All!!

Its one day closer to my Michael's having the SN@P items and I can just about STAND it!!! I want them all NOW!! Boy...do I need to learn some patience!!

So, for today's post, I figured I would show off some more of my SMASH book that I got done today! My kiddo still isn't feeling up to par, so while he relaxed and watched tv, I SMASHED.

Here are a few of the pages I completed! I am including 1 page that I cannot remember if I showed off or not. It wasn't done today, but it may not have been seen yet!

 

Probably one of my faves that I got done..The saying at the bottom says CRAZY ADVENTURE

 

This was our Top 10 moments from the trip. I found all types of icons that matched what are moments were and fussy cut them to go on the pages!

 

This idea I got from Corene's Creations. I tweaked it a bit...

 

 

...To include an interactive first page. It tells you a little back history of the picture!

 

Then when you open it up, it opens to a waterfall effect. I got 7 cards to fit on that! And if you lift the last picture up, there is my journaling card!

 

These were the last two pics I had to add cause they were printed Vertical instead of Horizontal! Because of that, they got their own page!

Paper Bag Mini Album-Baby's First Year theme!

Hey All!!

I feel like it has been FOREVER since I have been able to get on here to post! I have been so utterly busy and of coarse I just have to take on more responsibilities since apparently I'm just not happy unless I am beyond stressed out! I need to learn just how to say NO! And guess what, I told myself NO and put EVERYTHING that needed to be done (aside from clothes and house cleaning) and I got my nephews mini album kicked out!

So, if you remember from my post from Exploring Cricut last week, I made the little baby boy and First Tooth saying. Well, those items went into my project that I am going to show you today!!!

I am  part of a group on Face book called PLAY ALONG. In the group, we got a video on how to make a Paper Bag Mini Album. From the album itself, to the binding, to the fold out pages, we made it ALL ourselves!! Ginger (My Sister's Scrapper) had 6 videos on how to make this album, so I followed the videos, and I now have one album done for my nephew Jason!

For today's hop, I made a Turkey Thanksgiving Card for today's project! And I used a file from The Cutting Cafe for it and my Cameo! It was super easy to make and I think it turned out shiny like I wanted!!! I kinda didnt care for the back of him, but I didnt want a shaped card, and I must of thrown out 4 backgrounds before I decided to add some twine and a button to it! I suppose I am happy with it! You know as paper crafters, we are all our own worst critics!!! LOL!
