Guest Designer Tip for My Creative Cutter Room!

Hey All!!


Today is my guest designer tip day at Creative Cutter Room!

For today's tip, I wanted to show you how using these tools:

Supplies:

 

Paper

Ruler

Pencil

Toothpicks

Stryphone Block

Stampin' Up Crystal Effects (BUY FROM ME! Click HERE!)

Bic Markers

 

The measurements that I used are: 1 1/4 x 5 inches. To get the triangle shape, I marked the middle of 1 1/4 inches which is 5/8 of an inch, and from that 5/8 inch mark, I went down 5 inches. From that 5 inch point, I took the ruler and drew a line to the 1 1/4 inch mark. Then I repeated back at the 0 mark I made. SUPER EASY!!!

Hey All!!

Theme: Summer Fun!

It is hard to believe but our summer is quickly coming to an end! We start school in just 10 days!!! Oh.... where did the time go? I can't believe I am looking for school supplies and backpacks and lunchboxes already! HELLO! I blinked and my summer was over! But, I am not going to complain! I am all moved into my new home and have a BLAST!

So, now, I want to share my project with you! I feel like my first thought is always to grab a cartridge that I am COMFORTABLE with...Well, that stops TODAY! I decided that I got The Good Old Days Cartridge for a reason, and I just KNEW there would be something for this theme on there. Boy, if I wasn't correct!!! What do you do almost ALL summer long?? Did you say SWIM? Well, your right! I found the CUTEST images and I decided to make a swim party invite with it!!! You know, before summer is REALLY over!!!

Hey All!!

Today is my little guys birthday! So hard to believe that that he is 7 years old!! Love you Bubba!!! Bubba wants to go out to dinner tonight at our favorite Italian Restaurant! He LOVES the angel hair pasta, lol! All of our family is getting together to celebrate him! And I TRULY mean celebrate! I had Brandon at 33 weeks, and he was in NICU for 21 days! To leave him there while they sent me home was the HARDEST thing I ever had to do! And especially since he was so sick and came out not breathing, makes me so much more thankful every year when his birthday comes!!! Here's my little man at 28 days old:

Hey All!

Today it is my turn to give out some tips for Tip Tuesday over at Creative Cutter Room!!!

Lately, I am sure you all have figured out that I have VERY MUCH enjoyed creating videos on some of the things that may have been difficult to do on your own on the Cricut or the Gypsy, or especially if you are a newbie, (and have NO CLUE what Cricut Craft Room even is) the Craft Room!

I know that the Cricut Craft Room can be A LITTLE intimidating! Heck, I was VERY intimidated when I first strarted to try and use it! I remember thinking I would NEVER get the hang of this! But, then again, I thought that about the Gypsy as well! But, now, I'm a PRO :D! I promise you, with enough patience, enough practice, and a little help, you will ALL be pros at utilizing the Cricut Craft Room!

My required element is: Wet/Dry Embossing!

I had such a wonderful day the other day with my hubby and little guy just relaxing and watching the sky pass by and the trees blow in the wind last Sunday! I also thought that the way the sun rays came down into the trees were just BEAUTIFUL! I tried to recreate that effect with my button and ribbon! But, here is my impression of this past Sunday with my family!

Can you find my 4 elements????

Trees are from Campin' Critters Cricut Cartridge. They were INKED them with Tim Holz Distress Ink Forest Moss. Then I ran them through my Big Shot with the Intro Pack of Sizzix dry EMBOSSING pad.
The leaves are from my Martha Stewart Punch. I used Tim Holz STICKLES to give them some added dimension.
I re cut the grass from Campin' Critters in green and EMBOSSED the grass with the Swiss Dots Folder
