Happy October!!

I love, love this time of year! I wanted to document some photos of my son from a past Halloween, so I was inspired to make Halloween pages!! I recently made a witch on a project that I made, using a Graphic 45 Matchbook box...I loved the way it turned out, so I decided to do this on my smash book page, using the Wildwood book from CTMH. I think it gives my book character!

The skirt I made using Crape paper (party streamer) along with black tulle, and black feathers.

Her boots were cut from the Cameo (design #'s to all Cameo cuts will be listed below). I added some Glossy accents to the black portion of her boots, then sprinkled Martha Stewart Black Onyx glitter. If you are going to do this, I would suggest giving them a day to dry.

Printed out some Halloween paper, along with Cameo cuts. Makes for some cute pages.

I used a black strip of paper for her "belt", then added a bow.

This does add a little bulk to your smash book...but to me it's so worth it.

Thanks for stopping by! Today I'm sharing a super simple and fun DT project for Craftinandstampin'. I'm using the Wildwood My Crush book.

I found a filmstrip that I had in my stash, that happens to be the same height as my smash page. I love being able to use up product from my stash. I printed out 4 photos to fit inside the frame. 

I cut the page down, only leaving about an inch at the binding, and sandwiched the frame on the left over piece. Added a few embellishments and it was done. I love that this makes this page unique.

Today I have a very fun page to share with you for my Design Team smash page.

I'm using the Wildwood Crush book, and the Wildwood Assortment pack from CTMH.

I covered one of the pages up, using Pink Paislee's "Sweetness" collection. I printed my own photo at 5" in diameter. I also cut several 1" circles from the same collection to give it a scalloped border around the photo. I added a small doily from my stash, along with a flower cut from Silhouette Design#58727.

I wanted to include another similar photo, so I added a pocket on the side of the page, with a small tag to add to it, cutting it also in a tag shape from the Cameo. I added a little Seam binding to the tag. When adding pages to the smash book, you can then stitch on them, or add pockets to them. I did both on this page. 

I used one of the journaling cards from the Assortment pack from CTMH, and tucked it under my photo. 

The font is also a Cameo cut, using Bree Serif. I added a few enamel dots from Teresa Collins.

The bow I added is also from the Silhouette store, Design #25162.

I hope you enjoy this page, It was so much fun to make. I love the soft and  feminine feeling it has to it.

Today I have a fun page to share with you from my Wildwood Smash book from Close to My Heart. 

You can find this book, plus accessories that go along with it, and several other books from Jessica Wilson at Craftinandstampin'! 


I decided to cut one of the pages in my book down by 2", then added a bracket shape to the edge.

I simply designed a bracket shape in the Cameo, and used it to trace the edge of my page.

I printed my own photos at 3x3, and added a scrap piece of paper in the back ground. The paper is from the Chevron stack by The Paper Studio.

I then used a film strip I had in my stash for many years, and tucked a couple of journaling cards in it. I added a journaling card, and sticker from the Wildwood Assortment pack from CTMH.

I added a bow, and flowers from G45 Botanical Tea collection.

A few homemade enamel dots.

The base page is a Kraft page...in the photos it looks a little yellow, but it is Kraft.

I also distressed the edge of the Kraft page with Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink.

A few more cut outs from the Cameo I had in my stash.

I love how this page came together, and it gives it such a unique look, having a bracket shaped edge.
