My Day at Exploring Cricut!

Hi All!!

Today is my day over at Exploring Cricut!

For my project today, I wanted to recreate a project that I made for a friend and a craft show last year! I have my new house this year, and I have a Christmas Tree in my dining room that is ONLY my handmade ornaments! I love that tree!!! Well, when I was looking at it, I had decided I had two banners on it that I set to look like an ornament, and I wanted one more! So, I made this:

I used:

Cricut Craft Room
Winter Frolic
Cricut Font and Basic Shapes
Imagine-Christmas Wish

I just love the way it looks on my tree!!! I'm glad I even had some of the ribbon from last year that I used on it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Guest Designer Day at Jaded Blossom!

Hello All!!!

Today is a VERY exciting day for me!!! I am a GUEST DESIGNER for one of my favorite stamp companies EVER, Jaded Blossom!!! This is a TOTAL honor for me!!! I have been a fan since they came out and I ADORE them! My sister in law and I use them for TONS of things that we create for our family, friends, and our business!! So, thank you Candace and Michelle, for allowing me to be a designer during your birthday month!

For today's post, I decided I wanted to use one of my FAVORITE sets that I own from Jaded Blossom, the Santa Mail set. It has a TON of useful sayings on it! My favorite being "Do not open until Dec 25"! I also love the "From the North Pole" stamp as well! These stamps work PERFECTLY for Craft Show items, Teacher Gifts, Stocking Stuffers, etc!

The stamp I decided to use on my project today is the do not open unitl dec 25th stamp. I figured it would go awesome with my K-Cup SVG file!

Here is a picture of my project:

Supplies:

Silhouette Cameo
Silhouette Studio Designer Edition
Craftin' And Stampin' SVG File: K-Cup Gift Box
Jaded Blossom: Santa Mail Stamps
Brown ribbon/Red ribbon from my stash
Kraft Cardstock: Recollections
Patterned Designs on Cloud 9 Harvest Holiday paper pack

I really hope you all enjoyed my project! I really enjoyed being part of the team today! It was awesome!!

Make sure you keep checking Jaded Blossom's blog everyday, because there is a guest designer every day in December! AND they are doing a BIG giveaway! Make sure you link up your project for a chance to win!

OK, hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Hey All!!!
Today is my day over at Exploring Cricut, and I am pulling out an Oldie BUT a Goodie! We made something just like this about 2 years ago, but I wanted to make it again since my brother in law proposed to my future sister in law!!! It will be time for another bridal shower, so I gotta stock up on my favor ideas for her!!!

Wanna see what I made? Here it is!!

I used Tie the Knot and Art Philosophy for my box. I made the box at fit to page, so it was the biggest I could make it! I had the accents in my scrap extras box, so I am unsure of what cartridge they came from!

I cant wait for another sister in law! I am already blessed to have four! One more would be amazing!!!

OK all, dont forget that we have the blog hop from Monday, and we have our challenge going on that you can enter at EXPLORING CRICUT!

Hiding In My Craft Room-MIX IT UP (with a Christmas Theme)!

Click HERE to shop with me, 24 hours a day!!!

Hey All!!!

WOW....Can I just say that I am E-HAUST-ED after Thursday and Friday??? My body feels like I have aged like 10 years from lack of sleep and being so tried! I need a break! However, it wont be today! I have another craft show (fingers crossed for a good one) and then I am having my friends and family over for our annual Santa Fire Engine Parade! 7 neighboring towns, along with ours, "dress up" their fire engines and get them all decked out and they drive through my town, and finish the big guy himself! The exciting part this year is that it goes RIGHT IN FRONT OF  MY HOUSE! We can just all sit on the porch and watch it go by! It will be SOOO nice!! Speaking of Christmas, we have a challenge!!!

Over at HIMCR, our challenge this week is to MIX IT UP-with a Christmas Theme!

For me, Mixing it up, would be using something I don't typically use or do with my card making.

I made a gift card for you all to see! Wanna see it???

From looking at this, can you tell what I mixed up??? Not sure? Well, I'll tell you! I didn't use a SINGLE ELECTRONIC CUTTING MACHINE ITEM on my card!!! What?????? NO???? I really didn't!!!

Supplies:

Cutting Machine- BIG SHOT: Stampin' Up
Die- Top Note Die: Stampin' Up
Die cut: K&Co Spotted Canary Die Cut Pack
Paper: Michael's Sugarplums 6X6 paper pad
Adhesive- Pop Dots and ATG
TOOLS: Eyelets: AC Moore, Twine: AC Moore

Can I just say how EASY it was to make this card? And I used things I don't typically use! I love my ELECTRIC die cutting machines, so it was nice to give them a break for today!!!

So, now I would LOVE for you to all check out my DT sisters pages! They all did some AWESOME projects as well! Your gonna love them!!!

Then, go on back and link up your MIX IT UP project at Hiding In My Craft Room!!

OK all! Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Guest Designer Tip for My Creative Cutter Room!

Hey All!!

Today is my guest designer tip day at Creative Cutter Room!

For today's tip, I wanted to show you how using these tools:

Can help you make these:

HOW STINKING COOL, right???

Well, to make it EVEN easier, I made a video...Check it out below:

Supplies:

Paper
Ruler
Pencil
Toothpicks
Stryphone Block
Stampin' Up Crystal Effects (BUY FROM ME! Click HERE!)
Bic Markers

The measurements that I used are: 1 1/4 x 5 inches. To get the triangle shape, I marked the middle of 1 1/4 inches which is 5/8 of an inch, and from that 5/8 inch mark, I went down 5 inches. From that 5 inch point, I took the ruler and drew a line to the 1 1/4 inch mark. Then I repeated back at the 0 mark I made. SUPER EASY!!!

Here is what you can do to get them to dry:

OK all! I hope you enjoyed my tip!!! Thanks for watching!!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

New Challenge at Exploring Cricut! Thanksgiving!

Shop with me!! Click Here!!

Hey All!!
Its time for another challenge over at Exploring Cricut!

Here is the info for our new challenge!

Challenge "Count Your Blessings":
Create a card, layout, or paragraphed celebrating Thanksgiving.

For my project, I wanted to decorate my branch at work again for Thanksgiving. We are doing a food drive in my branch for our fellow co-workers who have been effected by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. That just hit way to close to home for all of us, and we couldn't bear to see our teammates, friends, and frankly because we are such a small bank, we are like family! We are gathering for Thanksgiving and for Christmas for them!

So, I brought in my friendly Cricut and my Gypsy and went to town! Here are the pictures of my branch:

My teller whole teller line

The teller station. I put falling leaves in 4 different colors on top, and their names on the bottom. Don't mind me in the background, lol! It's a marble teller line, so you see my reflection in it!

A closer shot of another Turkey. This is Ulana's station.

The circles in the Food Drive picture above are for customers to write their names on. We are still debating on wither or not we want to do an "I'm Thankful Wall". But, I just got this kicked out on Saturday evening, so no names were on when I left!

I think the girls will like their new name plates better then the RIP name plates I made them for Halloween. They all HATED seeing their names that way! Next, time, I'll ask! LOL!!!

For this project, I used: Create A Critter, Nate's ABC's, George and Basic Shapes, and my Gypsy to weld the letters of my tellers names!

OK, so this is what I have for Thanksgiving, what do you have to be thankful for? Time to create and enter for your chance to win a SWEET prize!!

Make sure you check out the rest of the Design Teams projects first!!

OK all, hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!
