Hey All!!

Its time for another challenge over at Exploring Cricut!

 

Here is the info for our new challenge!

 

Challenge "Count Your Blessings":

Create a card, layout, or paragraphed celebrating Thanksgiving.

 

 

For my project, I wanted to decorate my branch at work again for Thanksgiving. We are doing a food drive in my branch for our fellow co-workers who have been effected by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. That just hit way to close to home for all of us, and we couldn't bear to see our teammates, friends, and frankly because we are such a small bank, we are like family! We are gathering for Thanksgiving and for Christmas for them!

 

So, I brought in my friendly Cricut and my Gypsy and went to town! Here are the pictures of my branch:

The teller station. I put falling leaves in 4 different colors on top, and their names on the bottom. Don't mind me in the background, lol! It's a marble teller line, so you see my reflection in it!

The circles in the Food Drive picture above are for customers to write their names on. We are still debating on wither or not we want to do an "I'm Thankful Wall". But, I just got this kicked out on Saturday evening, so no names were on when I left!

I think the girls will like their new name plates better then the RIP name plates I made them for Halloween. They all HATED seeing their names that way! Next, time, I'll ask! LOL!!!

For this project, I used: Create A Critter, Nate's ABC's, George and Basic Shapes, and my Gypsy to weld the letters of my tellers names!

My Design Time at Exploring Cricut

Hey All!!

Sorry I have been MIA lately! I have had a LOT going on with my mom and her big surgery's, and with work! I have been SUPER BUSY!!!!

Anyway, today is my turn to be the designer for the day at EXPLORING CRICUT!

For today, I created Halloween Trick or Treat bags for my son and my nephew! Check them out!

I used fabric, painters tape, therm-o-web, my iron, my Cricut, and Mini Monsters for this project!

Too stinking cute, right???

My Design Time at Exploring Cricut-Decorations for Checking Campaign

Hey All!!!

Today is my turn over at Exploring Cricut, and BOY do I have a treat for you!

I took my Cricut into to work to help me decorate for our Sales Campaign that just started! Its for our new Boomerang Checking account. My girls and I came up with a few really good ideas, so it was not time to put the plan into action with the help of my Cricut.

Hey all!!!

Just checking in on vacation with a quick post for my day over at Exploring Cricut!!!!


Here is my card:

For this card, I used Victorian Romance, and I cut out the heart. I then stenciled it in melon mambo chalk to give the appearance of the cut out. I also used Plantin Schoolbook and welded the letters together on my Gypsy and I put a heart instead of an O. I then used my XYRON sticker maker and added red glitter to the heart!!!

Today is Card Creating Tuesday over at My Cricut Craft Room!

For today's challenge, you can create ANY CARD!!! Woo Hoo!!

For my card, I wanted to make a card for my hubby to say just how much I love and appreciate all that he has done for me lately! He is not into "lovey dovey cards", so I had to make a fun one for him!

Here is what I came up with:

I used my Gypsy, Sweetheart Cartridge, Paisley Cartridge, and Sesame Street Font Cartridge to make this shaped card!!!

How cute is it??

Here are the screens on my Gypsy showing how I welded and made this card!!

 

First, I found the image I wanted to use. Once I found the image and figured out how big I wanted it, I duplicated it, flipped it upside down, and moved them together until I was happy with the placement. Then I hit the weld button.

 

Next, I printed another layer to place on top of the front of the card, so I could create the frog/toad in my layers. I also made my sentiment for the inside. All of the 3 parts of the sentiment are welded together for easier placement!

Finally, I printed the rest of the layers (eyes, crown, belly) and then placed them on the card.

 

 

I cant wait to give hubby his card!!! I also hope my card inspires you to work with your Gypsy and create some beautiful cards and projects!!!

Part 1 of Creating An Easter Candy Box using Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2-...

Hi All!!!


WHEW! What a busy week! So busy at work, and so busy with business stuff!! We have a big craft show coming up on Saint Patty's Day so we have been going NUTS getting stuff done for the show! Got lots to sell too! Woo Hoo!

So, the other day I made a candy box on my Cameo and I had someone email me to ask if I could do this on my Gypsy/Craft room and make the same thing. I thought about it, and I went through my cartridges, and guess what? The new Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 cartridge has a candy box on there! And on Doodlecharms there is an image of a bunny and an Easter Basket! So, here it is!!!

Now, this is part 1. I will have Part 2 go on for Friday where I show you how to fold it up and put together!

Angry Birds-King Pig-Made on my Gypsy and my Cricut Expression

As promised from my post on the Red Angry Birds card, here is the video for my King Pig card!

Flying By To Say Happy Valentines Day-Angry Birds Style!

Hi All!!

How was everyone's Valentine's Day??? Mine was FANTASTIC!!! I made an awesome dinner for my hubby (baked chicken, sweet potatoes, corn, and home made garlic bread... YUMMMMYYY!) and I made my little dudes FAVORITE dinner, Mac and Cheese... Phineas and Ferb Mac and Cheese to be exact!!! Everyone REALLY enjoyed dinner! Then hubby broke our no buying for each other rule and pulled out a gift for me. Guess what it was??? Give up?? Well, it was the pair of Uggs that I wanted for about a year now!!!

I was SOOOO excited!!! I did feel really bad that I didn't get him one now :( That's ok though... His birthday is the 28th and I decided that his present is gonna be an I Phone!!! He does not see that coming at all!!!


Now, its time for a project!!!

This card is the card I made for my Little Guy for Valentine's Day! He is SUCH a huge Angry Birds fan, I just KNEW I had to make an Angry Bird card for him!! So, it was time to pull out the Gypsy! And of coarse my trusty George and Basic Shapes! I did also use B is for Boy!

 I kind of manipulated the shapes to my liking! I did save this cut file, and once again, if anyone knows how to share a cut file, let me know and I'll GLADLY share my file for your use! So, without further ado, here is my Angry Bird card:

Hey All!!

Gotta say I'm a little sad that Valentines Day is almost here! I have been crafting away making tons of decorations and cards, and I'm REALLY into Love day mode! I've had a BLAST making tons of different projects! I actually have a slew that I will be making next year, starting in the summer! Can never be too prepared!!

Well, my little dude is sick tonight so this will be a quick post.

I wanted to show you the beginning of an idea, and then how it finished out! Let me know what you think!

I made this on my Gypsy using George and Basic Shapes and PATIENCE! Lol! I have the cut file saved so if anyone can tell me how to share it, I GLADLY will!! (I wanted to make a 3D Heart to put out as a decoration in my living room. Something little that said "Happy Valentines Day" without actually saying it!)
