Hello everyone! Amber here from the Sew Ink Blog! I'm back with my last Fall themed layout using this colorful collection from Close To My Heart called Pathfinding. You can check out my first three layouts featuring this collection HERE, HERE, & HERE. I started by using one of the 12 x 12 sheets of patterned paper as my background. Then I added some patterned paper, my four photo mats, a few chipboard pieces, a stamped sentiment, a journaling tag, and my title.

I spelled out "Oh-So Grateful" with some barn red alphabet stickers from DCWV for my title and then added some stitching across my letters. Adding stitching helps keep the letters in place insuring they won't fall off as time goes by. The little Lagoon journaling tag can be pulled out from behind the patterned paper so I can add some journaling later on.

Here is a quick card thank you card. I find that you can just never have to many of these. I try to have them on hand along with birthday cards.

This year one of my goals was to send out more cards and I did. I wish I would have sent more but I am a work in progress right?

Sometimes when I make cards I like to do lots of layers, lots of fancy cuts and lots of embellishments and sometimes I do simple.

"Who's the boss?" Not me...that is why I made a card for my for my super awesome boss. I definitely hit the jackpot there. I have had a few not so great ones but most of the time I have been lucky and have had good ones. I am going to go out on a limb and say it is because I am a super duper employee.

Anyway I am the boss of my craft which means I do what I want when I am paper crafting. I can color outside the line and break the "rules" if I want to.

Can you spot what I did on this card?

If you noticed that my boarder stamp is the same wreath I have been using then yes you guess it! I cut my stamp up. Say what?

I was very careful and trimmed between the image and then I made it a boarder.

I will admit I was a little nervous in all my many stamping years I have never cut a stamp before but I really wanted to use this as a boarder so I just did it.

Love it.

I also did something else a little different on this card. I had an emergency with my olive cardstock as in I ran out! Wha wha what? How could this be it is one of my favorite colors anyway and what with it being fall and all...what is a girl to do?

I think it turned out pretty good. I also like to do this if I just need a little big of color or a brushed look.

Amber here from the Sew-Ink Blog!!! 

 Today I have another Fall themed layout to share that I created with Close To My Hearts Pathfinding Paper Pack and Close To My Hearts Pathfinding Complements Chipboard Sheet. I also used a fun little pattern from Close To My Hearts Reflections How- To Program called Bottom Border- Title. There are three different patterns to choose from, I'm using the second alternate pattern with the 4" x 3" photo and the three 2 1/2" x  2 1/2" photos.

I focused on using a few different sheets of patterned paper, some coordinating cardstock, and minimal chipboard pieces. I followed along with the pattern and added my green corrugated "Fall 2014" title and a few chipboard pieces to the bottom strip of patterned paper.

Of course I had to add some blue stitching and a bit of stamping for a little bit of subtle color, I added a terracotta colored leaf from the Pathfinding Complements to the stitching as well. I hope you like and Thanks for visiting!

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a colorful Fall themed layout that I created with Close To My Hearts gorgeous Pathfinding Collection. I will be creating and sharing a few different layouts featuring this collection all month long here on my blog and over at Jessica's. Today I'm sharing the first layout I created with this super cute collection.

Before I even started my layout I knew I wanted to highlight some of the gorgeous colors that are in the patterned paper so I started by painting and misting my 12 x 12 sheet of Champagne cardstock with some Autumn Terracotta and Lagoon ink mixed with water. I just love how the Autumn Terracotta and Lagoon color combo turned out. Since this is a Fall themed layout I used a picture of a tree with the sun setting behind it, a few chipboard pieces from the Pathfinding Complements Chipboard Sheet ans some Twine to my photo.

Hey All! Amy here from Paisley's Playhouse!

You can never have to many thank you cards can you? Life has been throwing me a ton of curve balls lately and so I have had to rely on others and will have continue to do so for the near future so I will be sending out some of these babies.

Anyway let's find our way back to the right path...haha did you see what I did there? Find our path...pathfinding lol. 

I got this gorgeous Pathfinding paper a few days ago and have been trying to decide what to do with it. I just love the colors: Champagne, Chocolate, Autumn Terracotta, Olive, Goldrush, Lagoon...and the beautiful new Glacier!

Last night I came u with this card. What do you think?

Isn't is adorbs? I had a ton of fun coloring the leaves. I used a little barn red and then the autumn terracotta and then olive to topped them off with some liquid glass. I decided to mount the wreath onto a rosette. I have always loved these but hated how they always popped up after a while but then I saw this tip somewhere: put a dab of hot glue on a circle and stick the rosette down into that. You do need to cover up the middle so you can't see the glue and I usually do that with a button or something. In fact I did try to add a button here but I just couldn't get it to look right so I did the little banner instead.

Isn't this stamp set so pretty? It is called Thanksgiving Wreath it is a special hostess set. The only way to get one is to host a party and be a hostess with the mostess.
