Crafty Sunday With A 500 Follower Giveaway!!

Hey All!!!

It has been a LOOOONNNNGGGG time since I was able to have a CRAFTY SUNDAY! Do you remember them??? I feel like I forgot what they were! I have been working my behind off for the last few months and I feel like I am FINALLY able to get things to slow down at work and now at home! Booger is  now officially set in a routine and is comfortable playing with his toys in his room while I do my crafty stuff in my craft room. I think that it helps that my craft room is RIGHT NEXT to his bedroom, hee hee!

Speaking of craft room, HOLY COW! It was SUPER messy for the longest time! I have no idea how I was able to get ANY projects done! Well, today, even though we lost an hour, this girl didn't let ANY time get away from her! My hubby had to work extra today at work, so I woke up bright and early with him and just got right to work! I cleaned my book shelf, got rid of all my scraps that I said I would use and never did, I re-organized all my embellishments into folders with a theme name on it to make it easier to see what I had, I re-organized all my paper into just patterned paper and then patterned paper with purpose (Birthday, Christmas, Halloween, Wedding, Baby, etc) into alphabetical by maker, I organized all my clear stamps, and I re-organized all my embossing folder and dies! Can I tell you just how much stuff that I had that I never even realized??? WOW!

I even found time to run to Michael's to take advantage of the Scrapbook Paper Pad sale! I found Heidi Swapp's No Limits Paper Pack & Recollections Today, Tomorrow, & Forever Paper Pack! Wanna know what else I found??? A Washi Tape holder/dispenser! WHOOT WHOOT! Here are the pictures of my finds:

Heidi Swapp No Limits Paper

Recollections Today Tomorrow Forever Paper

Washi Tape Dispenser filled up according to color!

And after that was all said and done, I even found time to DO a little bit of crafting!

My sister in law (and business partner) came over so we could get started on the invites for my step Mother In Law's surprise 50th party! My Father in Law said to do a 70's theme and that was it! So, we went to the Silhouette Store to look for some 70's inspired images, and boy, did we find EXACTLY what we wanted!!! We googled some sayings for fun birthday sayings for our theme and we found a super cute one! My sister in law got all excited because she said that she say an invite while she was looking for sayings that had the image we found on it! There was a lot of "testing" with the invite, BUT, we finally got it to be the way we wanted!!!

Here it is:

Camper Van File (for the van)-Silhouette Store

Isn't it SUPER cute??? I LOVE IT! Doing this and seeing just how cute it turned out makes me want to invest in a Laser Printer! And don't mind that green paper...I realized AFTER I shared it on my Instagram that I had my cell AND address on there! YIKES! Glad I deleted it!!

So, now....a little announcement.... And the important announcement is in ALL RED!

My Day At Exploring Cricut!

Hey All!!

Today is my turn at Exploring Cricut!

As you know, when its your day at Exploring Cricut, you can make WHATEVER you want (as long as you use a Cricut Cutout). So, today I decided to utilize the Craft Room to make a project for MY Craft Room!

I have been seeing these signs ALL over the internet! I refused to pay for one when I KNEW I could make one myself! So, I started up the Craft Room, and I got to work! Here is what I came up with:

Let me tell you how easy this was! You know me and my life...I NEED easy!!!

I used the Craft Room Basics file for the letters, and the Cricut Essentials file for the cutout that the letters were cut out of! Once I got it the way I wanted, I cut out the letters FIRST, then I unloaded the mat, and reloaded it, and cut the shape around the letters. I set it up in the craft room to look like this first (there is 2 layers and they are both on, that way I knew it would cut right):

I mounted the cutout in a frame that I will keep on my craft table!

Now how easy is that???

Dont forget we still have our Transportation Challenge going on! Make sure you enter your project in by Sunday to try to win some goodies!!! You can click HERE to enter!

OK All, Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

My little guy was SOOOO excited to hold up our SOLD sign (that my awesome realtor made for us, since they dont have them anymore, lol) to show off our house! He LOVES it!! He has his new bed, and all his toys, so he LOVES his room! As for me, here is my room that I love:

Quick Haul from Stampin Up and....A tour of my craft room!

Hey all!

I got a little surprise on my door step today! A package from Stampin' Up! I thought because it was a holiday that nothing would be delivered, but I was wrong! Great surprise for me!

So I ordered the Color Caddy for my stamps FINALLY because I needed it! It was a little pricey, but I think well worth it! My ink pads look awesome in it! I also got some fun new toys that I will be showing how to work over the next few nights!

I also show you an UBER QUICK tour of my veeeeeeerrrrrrryyyyy small craft room! I try to do the best with the space that I have! It works for me!!!

Tomorrow is Babci's surgery! I am getting so worried for her and for the surgery...My mind has been on that all day today. Even while my son had his little friend over for his play date. I just cant stop thinking about it, nor can I stop praying that when they open her nodes up, there is no sign of spread cancer. PRAYERS PLEASE!! I made a card for her that I think looks really cute! I just want it to brighten her day, if only for a few minutes! I will have the video for that on tomorrows post.

But as for today, here's a quick video to see! PS...it is up on my You Tube Channel-Craftinandstampin

OK all, remember, send prayers to my Babci! Send 'em her way!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

HO HO HO Holiday Wall Hanging.. And our countdown begins!!!

It's 25 days until Christmas!!! Yahooo!!!

Oh what fun I had making this wall/door hanging!!! It was SUPER easy and fun to make!!!!

Sorry if its a LITTLE out of focus! lol! That's the story of my life sometimes...hee hee! Here's what I did to make this cute little decoration!!!

-Cricut Jolly Holidays Cartridge
-George and Basic Shapes
-Cricut Imagine Machine
-Cricut Mr. Frosty Cartridge
-Fonts and Basic Shapes
-Ribbon of your liking!
-Adhesive
-Glue Gun

I cut out the 5 scalloped squares on my Imagine at 4 inches each, but I first flood filled the scallop with one of the pattern designs on Mr. Frosty cartridge. I then cut out 5 circles from George at 3 inches. I didn't flood fill, instead I just used green card stock. Then, to make the Jolly Guy, I cut him out at 4 inches from Jolly Holidays! I used Cricut Font and Basic Shapes in the craft room to cut out 3 HO HO HO's at 2.5 inches. After I cut and adhered all the layers together, I glued down my circles to my scalloped circles, then I used my glue gun to glue down my ribbon to attach all the circles! Then, viola! Its complete!!! Mine will be hanging from my front door this weekend when I am decorating!!
