Card Made With Studio G's Stamps

Click HERE for my 500 Follower Giveaway! Make a comment on that post & follow my blog for your chance to win!!!

Hey All,

Yesterday was once again a sad day for our nation, they bombing of the Boston Marathon. It actually affected ALL nations seeing as I believe I heard 90 nations compete in it. And I just awoke to the news that a poor, innocent, 8 year old boy from Dorchester was one of those that was killed. Makes me wanna hug my 8 year old all the much more! I just hope that we can find whoever did this, and have it bring justice to all those who were affected by this senseless tragedy yesterday!

After being as upset as I was yesterday, I decided to make a card to remind myself their is always gonna be Sunshine and Happiness the next day. It will still hurt, but you have to keep moving forward to feel good again. I hope that makes sense what I am saying.

Here is the quick card I created:

DCWV October Afternoon Mat Stack
Studio G Stamp Set
1 inch circle punch-Stampin' Up
Label Punch-Stampin' Up
Heart and Cloud Washi Tape-Washi Tape Guy
Pool Party, Tangerine Tango, and Pacific Blue Ink Pads-Stampin' Up

This card took me 5 minutes. I challenged myself, and I made it happen! I will be starting something new for us card makers out there that have SOOOO many tools and embellishments that we get overwhelmed. I am going back to basics with card making! I will be sharing in my post tomorrow, so be sure to check it out!

Crafty Hugs and Prayers for Boston and all those affected!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

K-Cup Holder SVG for sale, Stampin' Up , and other goodies!

Hey All!!

I am FINALLY back to being able to do routine posts and videos again!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!

Mom finally is home and getting into a routine with her therapy at home, and she is starting to feel like her old self again! Big Brandon is up to the same stuff, and Bub is enjoying school and FINALLY into a routine where he knows what to do when he gets home! Something to eat, homework, reading, THEN playtime!

As for me, TONS of exciting things have been going on! Got a big craft show coming up Thursday night! Got TONS of great things made for it! I will be showing off some items over the next few days!

I rejoined Stampin' Up again. It was a VERY hard decision for me, because I LOVE Close To My Heart products and ESPECIALLY the Cricut Cartridges, but, for me it was more difficult to sell and unfortunately, I did not care for their paper. You ALL know I have a love affair with my paper! LOL! Also, it was VERY difficult to navigate through the online ordering and understanding where I stood for the month. It is a WONDERFUL company, but, just not for me! So, I rejoined my Stampin' Up clan again! I LOVE IT!!! I joined under the NUMBER ONE sales woman in the company, Tami White! I hope she is impressed with what I can do! I wanna make her proud!!! And FYI, the NEW STAMPIN' TRIMMER was just released and I have it!! It's a WONDERFUL little addition to any craft room! Click the picture below to go right to my Stampin' Up online store to purchase the new Stampin' Trimmer for $29.95!!!

Another thing that happened was that I am no longer affiliated with My Cricut Craft Room. As you all know, I am in customer service for my day job. I ADORE MY JOB! I may complain that I am tired and all, but, its my love! I thrive from helping my customers, and being there for them! I love learning about them and their families, and I enjoy being a part of their "family"if you will. With that being said, and with all the negative information I have been hearing and finding out on my own, I no longer am with My Cricut Craft Room. For me, if it was not for my customers, I would not have a job. Even with Stampin' Up, if I do not have customers, I can not afford my crafty lifestyle! I appreciate my customers each and every day! So, for the owner of My Cricut Craft Room to not appreciate and help out her customers when they need her, well, I just cannot be affiliated with that. I decided three weeks ago that it was time to step down. BUT, that was not the end of my Design Team friendships, nope, not at all! Stay tuned for the beginning of the year for more info on that!!!

The final new venture that I am taking is that I am now creating SVG files! I ADORE my Silhouette Cameo and my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, so I decided to take that love affair and see what I can do with it!!! I will have a page to purchase my SVG's on my blog! They will be for the most part, $.99 as I start! So, would you like to see the first thing I created????

I created a K-Cup box which is PERFECT for gift giving, craft shows, teacher gifts, etc! This SVG set is for the Silhouette Cameo, and comes with:

Lid
Bottom of box
Box insert to hold 4 K-Cups
Patterned Piece cut outs for top of lid, sides of lid, and sides of box bottom
Belly band for the box
Tag for stamp

I hope you enjoy it! You can purchase it for $.99 by clicking below!

I will email you within the same business day of payment.

OK all! Thanks so much for listening to my info!! And I hope you will purchase my 1st ever SVG  for sale!!!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Hiding In My Craft Room-KISS Challenge!

Click HERE for my 250 Follower Giveaway Post!

Hello All!!!

Its time for another Saturday challenge over at Hiding In My Craft Room!!! Today's challenge theme is:

K.I.S.S.-KEEP IT SIMPLE SWEETIE (Get it now...? :D). What does this mean? This will sort of depend on your style.  Like, if you always do lots of layers, then keep it less, or less embellishments, just make a simple project! Not very hard!!!

So, for today's challenge, I thought it TOTALLY appropriate to make this card since it was VERY simple! And SIMPLE for me means, less dimension, less layers, and less colors! I usually like LOTS of dimension and LOTS of colors! I kept to one color scheme for the most part on this card, and I added NO POP DOTS! I thought my fingers were going to break off, lol!

Wanna see my card??? Here it is!!!

Valentine's Card for Mojo Monday Weekly Contest

Hi All!

I am FINALLY feeling better today! YEEEAAAA! My boss asked me to stay home today so I can get better because she is most likely going to become GiGi this weekend and it looks as though I will have to work! I am so excited for her! First grandson coming along! And she loves the name GiGi (that's what my son calls my mom) and cant wait to be called it! So, I am home today...was kinda bored...then decided it was time to do some crafting :)

I had seen this blog a little while back and said that I was going to try to do a challenge on their site. Well, needless to say, 6 months later I am finally trying, lol!

The challenge this week was to use this sketch:

So, my interpretation of the sketch is this:

Here is my supplies:

Bo Bunny Crush Collection
Stampin' Up Large Heart Punch
Stampin' Up Lots of Love Letterpress Plate (in the background on pink card stock)
Stampin' Up Embosslets Hearts Folder
Stampin' Up Outlined Occasions Stamp Set (LOVE, Be Mine)
Stampin' Up Melon Mambo Embossing Powder
Pink, Red, White Paper-Recollections
Versamark Ink (for letterpress plate, Love stamp, and Be Mine stamp)
Pop Dots
ATG

I made the 4 squares at a cut of 1 3/4 by 2 1/4 and the large rectangle in the middle was cut at  2 X 4 1/2.

Hope you enjoy the card. I enjoyed playing along!

Hope to find you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

No Hobby Lobby for me...But, a haul video for you!

Hey guys,

So yesterday I made a quick post about going to Hobby Lobby...well, sadly we didnt make it there. Our GPS could not navigate there and it was saying that it was 87 miles away! Hubby was NOT ready to drive that far! I guess I cant say that I would blame him! The good news is that they are opening one in the Millville NJ area and thats only a half hour away! I'll be there every weekend once it opens in February!!! I can only imagine the great deals I will find!!! Stay tuned for the opening weekend there!! I'll do a video!

Speaking of video, I made one last night, and I DIDNT get cut off! Its just another haul video, but I am a step closer to grasping video uploading! I found out that if your video is longer than 15 minutes, it will NOT get uploaded to You Tube! So that is what I am aiming for now...shorter than 15 minutes!!! I will have a few videos to share tomorrow and the next day! But, PS, does anyone know how to work Intelli-Studio for video editing?????

For tomorrow's post, I will show you a few videos! I am in the process AS WE SPEAK of making my first stamps!! Woo Hoo!!! Lets see how this turns out!!!

Hope to find you all Craftin' and Stampin'!

Using Stampin Up's New Framelet's Dies! and UPDATE TO BLOG CANDY GIVE AWAY!!!

Hi Hi Hi!!!

I am SO proud of myself for learning how to add videos to my You Tube Channel and now to my blog! YEAAAAA! So, since I am ALL about making some videos, I made a quick one about using these AWESOME new dies that will work with your Big Shot, or any other die cutting machine for that matter!
These new dies will be available starting January 1st and they are in the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog. They are called Framelet's. They "nest" inside one anther so you can enlarge and decrease the size of the item you want to die cut. The ones that I am using in my video are the Label's Collection.

(While watching my video, you should know that I asked HUBBY SANTA for a tripod for Christmas, lol)

There are other dies that are in the catalog, but these were the ones I wanted now!

Also, please don't forget to check out my Stampin' Up site! They still have A LOT of items that are going for 80% off!! Check out my post from last Thursday where I show you which punches I ordered!!! I know for a FACT that I ordered dups...I was rushing and wanted to be sure I got them at the discounted price! So, my loss is your gain! Keep checking back each day on my blog, cause I will be doing another blog giveaway!

And speaking of blog giveaway, HELLLLOOOO! I have an open blog contest! No one has entered it yet!!! I want to give things away!!! If by tomorrow I do not have anyone that entered a project into Mr. Linky, I will give the blog candy away to the first person that gets me 1 new follower! All that will have to be done is this:

1. YOU MUST BE A FOLLOWER
2. YOU MUST INVITE A FRIEND TO BECOME A FOLLOWER ON MY BLOG
3. HAVE YOUR FRIEND MAKE MENTION THAT THEY ARE A NEW FOLLOWER AND THAT YOU SENT THEM TO MY BLOG

That's all!!! I really want to give something away before I leave for vaca!!! Which, by the way, does not need to hurry any faster to get here! I'm already WAYYYYY behind on everything!

OK friends, that's all for me tonight!

Hope to find you all Craftin' and Stampin'

And my cards are OFFICIALLY DONE!!!

I want to first thank one of the blogs that I follow for the inspiration for one of my last cards. "Prairie Paper and Ink" is who I owe a big THANK YOU too! I was looking for a card that didn't exactly say CHRISTMAS since we have some friends who may not believe too much in the true meaning of Christmas. I still wanted to send them card though! Here is what it looks like:

Doesn't exactly scream Christmas AT ALL to me! But I still was able to express that we wanted them to have a happy holiday!

Here is the next card that I made to finish off my Christmas Cards! This was my own idea, and it was BEYOND easy...once again, there is no tutorial on this card; I'm pretty sure just by looking at it, you can figure it out! lol! I can tell you all the stamps, ink, and embossing powder are Stampin' Up!

Now that they are ALLLLLL done, its time to get signing and addressing! My next project is to make all the games and fun stuff for my sons Christmas Party at school! My goodie box from Stampin' Up will be arriving on Wednesday, and I can get started on his stuff! I already have the Cricut Imagine Cartridge, Santa's Village that I will be printing out coloring sheets for the kiddos. Then with my stuff coming on Wednesday, I can make the Holiday Bingo game for them all! I also have a SPECIAL ORDER of "Magic Reindeer Food" coming from the Jolly Man himself, and that should be READY by tomorrow ;)

Ok folks, I'll be posting pics of all the stuff all finished for the kiddos, and I will still be posting a video of my Early Christmas Gift! See post from 12/12/2011.

So here's my new sign off....Hope to find you all craftin and stampin!

Gary (from Spongebob) Penny Spinner Card

What a fun card to make!! I made this for my son's friends birthday this weekend! The little boy LOVES Spongebob, so I thought he would like to see his buddy Gary (MEOW)! I cut Gary out on my Cricut Expression machine from the Spongebob Cartridge. I used my Stampin' Up Word Window punch to punch behind Gary so he can spin on the penny's. I have the Penny Spinner Card Tutorial on my website: http://www.jessicarosewilson.stampinup.net/ . If you are interested in learning step by step how to do it, please let me know!
