Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop. This hop will take place November 25th through December 6th and the new postings each day will be posted by 8 am eastern standard time. SO, onto my project for DAY 7!! Totally wanted to use Sparkle and Shine from Close To My Heart, but I was pulling out my decorations yesterday and I found a decoration that broke and I wanted to make a new one! So, I jumped into Cricut Craft Room, used Cricut Font and Basic Shapes and cut out the work JOY. Then, I took some Pledge and a clear ornament from Michaels and some red glitter and made an ornament. I found some fun patterned holiday paper (this paper is SUPER OLD and I recreated the appearance of my favorite decoration). Next, I put the pattern paper into a size 8 X 10 and put it into a 8 X 10 size frame! After that I hot glued the ornament onto the glass part of the frame and I used adhesive to put the letters to the glass of the frame. BAM! My project was done!!! I hope you like it!!

Hey All!!

Happy Hump Day!! Thank GOODNESS its Wednesday already! I am SOOO ready for my weekend to get here its not even funny! Got WAAAAYYYY too much to do, and certainly not enough time to do it!!

Today is my turn to post over at Exploring Cricut! I was thinking big time about what I wanted to make, and I tried and tried on Monday night to come up with something, but alas, nothing! I thought about it all afternoon at work as well! And then as I was making my drive home, BAM! It hit me! I knew what I wanted to make!!

I remember a card from the Stampin Connection. Thats a site that Stampin' Up reps can get into to post their cards they have made, and so you can get inspiration! Well, about 3 years ago, I went on and FELL IN LOVE with a card sketch that I believe (but please dont quote me on it) Mary Fish created! Well, I remembered that sketch, and may have even used it before, but its one of my FAVS!!

Now, I had the card recipe in mind..but what to make it...? EUREKA! I got an email from the AWL asking about help for the Easter Egg hunt coming up, so I based my card on the thought of Easter and an Egg Hunt!!

I had SOOO much fun making this card! Other than the fact that my Cricut decided that not only the Expression needed to have a software update, but then my Gypsy needed to have one! AHHH!!

My Day at Exploring Cricut!

Hi All!!

Today is my day over at Exploring Cricut!

For my project today, I wanted to recreate a project that I made for a friend and a craft show last year! I have my new house this year, and I have a Christmas Tree in my dining room that is ONLY my handmade ornaments! I love that tree!!! Well, when I was looking at it, I had decided I had two banners on it that I set to look like an ornament, and I wanted one more! So, I made this:

Hey All!

Today it is my turn to give out some tips for Tip Tuesday over at Creative Cutter Room!!!

Lately, I am sure you all have figured out that I have VERY MUCH enjoyed creating videos on some of the things that may have been difficult to do on your own on the Cricut or the Gypsy, or especially if you are a newbie, (and have NO CLUE what Cricut Craft Room even is) the Craft Room!

I know that the Cricut Craft Room can be A LITTLE intimidating! Heck, I was VERY intimidated when I first strarted to try and use it! I remember thinking I would NEVER get the hang of this! But, then again, I thought that about the Gypsy as well! But, now, I'm a PRO :D! I promise you, with enough patience, enough practice, and a little help, you will ALL be pros at utilizing the Cricut Craft Room!
