My Cricut Craft Room-First DT Post!

Click HERE for Exploring Cricut Post

Hey All!
Today is my FIRST post with My Cricut Craft Room! I am SO EXCITED to be a part of this team! I have met A LOT of awesome girls, and I am excited for my blog followers to meet some more of my DT sisters! Please, check out My Cricut Craft Room as soon as you are done with reading my blog post today :)
So, I spent a good amount of time thinking of what I wanted my card to look like! I knew I was going to do something with the My Creative Time stamps, and I only own 2 sets of her stamps, Spring Chicken Backgrounds and Teeny Tag Greetings. Here are what they look like:

The Chicken Wire Background stamp that I used

Teeny Tag Greetings

I remember a VERY long time ago, someone on the Cricut Message boards showed how to make the Chicken Wire background. So, I went with that. It was SOOOO easy! All I did was take my Black Stayz On ink and stamp it to a piece of Acitate! Here is a picture of what it looks like when you do it.

Here is an up close picture of what the card looks like with the scene and the Chicken Wire Background put together! Doesn't it look super real?

The secret is the acitate! It is clear so you don't see ANYTHING but the background stamp (in this case, the chicken wire background)!

The particular cuts that I used are the chicken, fence, and grass. All of which came from the County Fair cartridge.

The birds came from Baby Shower cartridge and the flower is from Art Philosophy!

The Sun is just a circle and a scallop circle that I had from my Cricut Image stash! I stamped the saying from My Creative Time "Teeny Tag Wishes" onto my sun, so you see it right away!

And that's about all folks! I hope you enjoyed seeing my first post! I hope you can take a minute to go and check out my DT sisters and their projects! Check out http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ for some more inspiration!

Hope to catch you all Craftin' and Stampin'!
